The pack sits behind fabric. Never put a frozen pack directly on bare skin. If you go numb, take it out. Heat isn't for everyone. Leave when you want to.

Why you'll want them.

They're clean.

They live in your bag and come out for the sauna. Leave the sweaty gym kit in your locker.

They're comfortable.

Washed linen outside, cotton against you, and a cut made for sitting around doing nothing.

They keep a secret.

The cold pack sits inside, behind the linen. Built to take the edge off a long round, with nobody on the bench any the wiser.

What's in them.

Planned fibers

By section, heaviest first.

Shell: linen. Also sampling linen/cotton and linen/Tencel.

Liner: cotton.

Pocket: wool, cotton, polyester film.

Waistband: covered elastic with rubber, cotton drawcord.

Sleeve: wool.

Origin to be confirmed before production. We'll state it here.

A linen shell and a cotton liner against your skin. The film is polyester-based, the pack is sealed in plastic and the elastic has rubber in it, so nobody should call this all-natural. We won't.

Washing

Take the pack out. Machine wash cold, hang dry. Linen shrinks if you're mean to it. Wipe the pack clean, and please don't microwave it.

In the box

The shorts. Two cold packs, if you chose them. A cold test card. A hangtag you'll throw away.

OK, one nerdy bit

Insulation on the outside, so the cold goes to you and not the room.

The hidden pocket, pulled apart layer by layerFrom the room to your body: linen shell, cotton face, wool felt, reflective film, cold pack, cotton liner. Heat comes from the room side. The insulation sits on that side so the cold goes toward you. The room Heat comes in here Cotton liner Cold pack Reflective film Wool felt Cotton face Linen shell Cold goes this way You
  1. The pocket, closed

    Looks like nothing. Good.

Keep scrolling and it comes apart, layer by layer.

  2. Layer 1 of 6

    Linen shell

What everyone sees. It has one job: look like shorts.

  3. Layer 2 of 6

    Cotton face

The front of the pocket. A plain cotton wall between the linen and everything behind it.

  4. Layer 3 of 6

    Wool felt

The insulation. It goes on the room side, not your side. That's the whole trick.

  5. Layer 4 of 6

    Reflective film

The stuff emergency blankets are made of, polyester-based. It turns heat back toward the room.

  6. Layer 5 of 6

    Cold pack

Soft, freezable, about 4.5 by 4 inches, sealed in plastic film. It slides in from the top, at your locker.

  7. Layer 6 of 6

    Cotton liner

Holds the whole pocket. The pack sits behind fabric, never against your skin.

  8. All together

Room on one side, you on the other.

Heat comes from the room. Felt and film sit on that side, so the pack is built to spend its cold on you, and not on the sauna.

The questions people ask first.

Will it show?

It's designed to read as shorts from three feet away. The pocket sits on the liner, behind the linen.

How long does it stay cold?

We're designing for a full round, and we'll publish the numbers before the first batch ships. How the cold test works.

How do I get a frozen pack to the gym?

Freeze it at home and carry it in the wool sleeve. That's what the sleeve is for.

What am I committing to?

Nothing. Reserving saves your size and setup against your email. No card, no charge. When deposits open we'll write to you, and you decide then.

What if I get the size wrong?

Email us and we'll change your hold. No charge, no form, no judgment.
